To use this Topeak crank puller, first, identify the type of crank arm you have - square taper, Octalink, or ISIS Drive. For square tapered crank arms, use the built - in rotating tip. For ISIS Drive and Octalink crank arms, switch to the additional rotating tip. When using it, make sure to apply steady pressure. After use, clean the tool with a dry cloth to keep it in good condition. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. Also, be careful not to drop it as it might damage the rotating tips.
