Description

A tube isn't just a tube. Schwalbe tubes stand out with their excellent airtightness, retaining air pressure much longer than others. The quality of the rubber mixture directly impacts the tube's performance. Each tube is individually inflated and molded, ensuring even wall thickness and great air retention. With strict quality control, every tube is inflated at the factory and stored under pressure for 24 hours to test air retention. Our Group Tube System, thanks to high - elasticity and quality materials, covers many tire sizes. For example, tube no.17 fits section widths from 28 mm to 47 mm. It's no wonder Schwalbe was marked'very good' by the Swiss consumer magazine 'Kassensturz' in 2012. In comparative tests, over 30 days, other tubes lost nearly twice as much pressure as Schwalbe tubes. Schwalbe maintains high standards despite rising butyl prices. All tests were done on the same rim with a 28” x 1.75” (47 - 622) tire, starting at 5 bar pressure.

Using your Schwalbe tube is easy. First, make sure your tire and rim are clean and free of debris. Carefully insert the tube into the tire, being gentle to avoid pinching it. Then, attach the valve to the rim hole and inflate the tube to the recommended pressure. When it comes to maintenance, check the air pressure regularly, at least once a week, to ensure optimal performance. Store your tube in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the tube right away to avoid flats. And always use the correct valve tool when inflating or deflating the tube.
