The Legion L40 is an ideal BMX-style bike for riders from 5’0” to 5’6”. It's designed for those eager to step up their game with a stylish look. Built around a super-durable Hi-Ten steel frame, handlebar, and fork combo. The drivetrain has 175mm three-piece tubular chromoly hollow spindle cranks, a 25T steel chainring, and a mid sealed bearing bottom bracket. The 20” x 2.3” fast-rolling tires are on aluminium single wall 36H rims, with a 3/8” in axle front hub and 9T cog sealed bearing cassette rear hub. It comes with a standard aluminium rear U-brake, and a front calliper brake is added for the NZ market (not shown).
Using your Mongoose Legion L40 is easy. Just hop on and start pedaling! When riding, make sure to wear proper safety gear like a helmet. For the brakes, use the rear U-brake for normal stops and the front calliper brake (if in NZ) for more sudden stops. To keep your bike in good shape, regularly check the tire pressure. The 20” x 2.3” tires should be inflated to the recommended level. Also, lubricate the chain every few rides. This helps the 25T steel chainring and the 175mm three - piece tubular chromoly hollow spindle cranks work smoothly. If you notice any loose parts, especially on the Hi - Ten steel frame, handlebar, or fork, tighten them up right away.
